This is my uncle Glen Alfred Ginn born 5/8/1925 and died 4/10/1990.
Uncle Glen enlisted in the Marines in June 1943 and served with the 471 St. Platoon out of Camp Pendleton California. Glen left for basic training in June 1943 and did not return home until May 1945 serving in New Guinea, Leyte Islands, and Solomon Islands.
Glen was the oldest son of William A. Ginn and Edith (Jones) Ginn of the Palmyra area of Trimble County.
