WILLIS, A. F., 100, R.2, Milton, died 7 Sep 1975, bur. Moffett Cem. Born Trimble Co. (21 Oct 1874, s/o William G. and Ester Hudson Willis.) Lived all his life in Trimble Co., had been a member of Mt. Pleasant Church for 89 years. The church was built by his grandfather, Allen Hudson, who also served as pastor of the church. Mr. Willis taught school for a number of years in the county. He went into the Navy from Trimble Co., served 30 years before W.W.II, stayed in 3 more years and retired in 1943. Survived by wife, WAUNITA WISE, son, Howard Wise, Jr., bro., Robin and Richard Wise, sis., Hattie Staples, Mattie Kent, Grace Staples, Lucy Callis and Sylvia Engels. A bro., Shelby Wise died 1918 of flu while in service in W.W.I.
