McCORD, J. Lafe, 89, Atlanta, GA, died 3 Mar 1957, burial Moffett Cem. A native of Trimble Co. had made his home in Louisville, KY for the past 60 yrs. He was a brother of the late George F. McCord. His death marks the end of the immediate family of Joseph R. McCord.

McCORD, Virginia, 80, died 7 Nov 1954, burial Moffett Cem. b. Liberty com. 8 Jul 1874, d/o Robert and Catherine Mayfield Overton, taught school for several years in Trimble Co. and Madison, IN. Widow of GEORGE McCORD, m. 28 Oct 1903, 3 ch. a son Malcomb died in infancy, survived by son, J. R. McCord, a dau. Mrs. James McMahan, a sis. Mrs. Nancy Mosley. A brother Fred Overton died 1932.

McINTIRE, Elizabeth, 78, died 6 Feb 1957, burial IOOF Bedford. d/o late William R. and Virginia Cook Goode, b. Bedford com. began teaching at the age of 18 in the Canip area, teaching in county for 43 years. More than 20 years ago retired from teaching and m. LIEGE McINTIRE who died several years ago. She served as Trimble Co. Circuit Clerk for many years. Survived by a brother J. H. Goode.

McINTIRE, Henry N., 86, Milton, died 15 Jun 1957, burial Moffett Cem. b. 25 Dec 1870, Trimble Co. (s/o James and Sarah Buchanan McIntire.) Survived by wife CLARA McINTIRE. He was last of his immediate family of 6 ch. Preceded by 1st wife MINNIE FISHER McINTIRE and 2nd wife Mrs. CAL FISHER MORELAND McINTIRE many years ago. He had no ch. but helped raise 2 step-ch. Mrs. Theo Teague and the late Frank W. Moreland, also surviving are 3 other step-ch. J. H. and Raymond Sibley and Mrs. Ray Binford.
