McCORD, J. Lafe, 89, Atlanta, GA, died 3 Mar 1957, burial Moffett Cem. A native of Trimble Co. had made his home in Louisville, KY for the past 60 yrs. He was a brother of the late George F. McCord. His death marks the end of the immediate family of Joseph R. McCord.

He was last of his immediate family of 6 ch. Preceded by 1st wife MINNIE FISHER McINTIRE and 2nd wife Mrs. CAL FISHER MORELAND McINTIRE many years ago. He had no ch. but helped raise 2 step-ch. Mrs. Theo Teague and the late Frank W. Moreland, also surviving are 3 other step-ch. J. H. and Raymond Sibley and Mrs. Ray Binford.
