This tree begins with Christoph Piquart and his wife Marie Guerinot, who were born in France in the very early 1800's. The emmigrated to the United States in 1847 and settled in Milton, Trimble County, Kentucky. At the time of importation, the name Piquart was gradually changed to Pecar.
